BAYSTAR HOTEL GROUP OPENS HAMPTON INN & SUITES - TAMPA EAST

TAMPA (Nov. 29, 2005) — BayStar Hotel Group, LLC opened its new Hampton Inn & Suites – Tampa East, 11740 Tampa Gateway Blvd. in Seffner, Fla. last week. Accessible from Exit 10 of Interstate 4, the four-story hotel is located near Lazy Days RV Super Center, Bob Evans and Cracker Barrel restaurants, and Gator Ford.

“We anticipate mostly leisure travelers with some business people and have built amenities for both groups,” said George Glover, chairman and CEO of BayStar Hotel Group. “It is very convenient for folks servicing their RVs at Lazy Days, visiting the fairgrounds or traveling on either I-75 or I-4.”

The $7 million hotel has 75 rooms, including 20 suites, with room rates ranging from $89 to $129. Amenities include a heated swimming pool, exercise facility, free in-room movies, free local calls and the “On the House Hot Breakfast.” Business travelers will appreciate the free high-speed Internet access, speaker phones and a new “lap desk” that allows guests to work in bed or move around while using a lap top. Like all BayStar Hotels, the Hampton – Tampa East welcomes pets.

The Hampton Inn & Suites – Tampa East is the first newly constructed prototype of the “Make it Hampton” initiative. Several new features are six-foot hallways, open-under-the-counter wood vanities and storage shelves, and walk-in showers. Guest rooms are wider and arranged to create more living space, come with microwaves and refrigerators, and have new bedding with high-quality softer sheets, comforters and stacks of pillows. Suites also have CD/DVD players.

Jacky Gill is the general manager of the new property, which can be reached at 813-630-4321.
