JACKY GILL TO MANAGE BAYSTAR HOTEL GROUP’S
HAMPTON INN & SUITES – TAMPA EAST
TAMPA (Nov. 29, 2005) — BayStar Hotel Group, LLC has
promoted Jacky Gill, CHA (Certified Hotel Administrator)
into the position of general manager of its new Hampton Inn
& Suites - East Tampa. Gill will oversee hotel’s
operations, including staffing, occupancy, guest
satisfaction, front office, housekeeping, budgeting, and
maintenance.
Gill has been in the hotel industry since 1982, most
recently serving as assistant general manager at
BayStar’s Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites
–Orlando International Airport. Previously, she was
general manager of the Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites in
Tarpon Springs, Fla. and was with JP Hotels in Tampa.
Gill holds numerous hospitality-oriented certificates,
including one from the Intercontinental Hotels General
Manager Program and one from the Hampton Inn GM Program.
The Hampton Inn & Suites Hotel – East Tampa,
which opened on Nov. 22, has 75 rooms, including 20 suites.
It is located at 11740 Tampa Gateway Blvd. in Seffner, near
Exit 10 of Interstate 4 near Lazy Days RV Super Center, Bob
Evans and Cracker Barrel restaurants, and Gator Ford.
The four-story, $7 million hotel has a heated swimming
pool, an exercise facility, free high-speed Internet
access, free in-room movies, free local calls and a
complimentary hot breakfast. Room rates range from $89 to
$129 and like all BayStar Hotels, the Hampton welcomes
pets.
