BAYSTAR HOTEL GROUP ANNOUNCES MANAGEMENT
CONTRACT
TAMPA, FLA. (Oct. 2, 2007) — BayStar Hotel Group,
LLC, a Tampa-based hotel development and management
company, has been retained to manage two hotels for the
Bayshore Group, a Tampa-based real estate developer and
owner of office buildings.
Located in the greater Tampa Bay area, the hotels are the
Best Western Brandon Hotel & Conference Center, 9331 E.
Adamo Drive, and Lakeland’s Holiday Inn Hotel and
Conference Center on Interstate 4 and US Highway 98.
BayStar took over responsibility for day-to-day operations
and marketing in the second quarter of 2007. An award-
winning franchisee of InterContinental Hotels Group,
BayStar owns and operates several hotels in the state and
has provided management and marketing services for third
party owners, lending institutions and private investment
groups throughout the region.
BayStar Hotel Group is overseeing a $1 million renovation
on the 117-room Brandon Best Western, which will be
completed a little later this month. The Lakeland Holiday
Inn with its 157 rooms, restaurant, and meeting rooms is
the winter home for the Detroit Tigers baseball team.
