BAYSTAR HOTEL GROUP HIRES ROBERT FROBISH AS GM FOR
ORLANDO’S NEWEST HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS
TAMPA (Dec. 28, 2005) — BayStar Hotel Group, LLC has
appointed Robert L. Frobish, CHA (Certified Hotel
Administrator) as general manager of its Holiday Inn
Express – Lake Buena Vista. Frobish oversees the
hotel’s operations, including staffing, occupancy,
guest satisfaction, front office, housekeeping, budgeting,
and maintenance.
Frobish has more than 30 years’ experience in the
hotel industry, mostly managing Holiday Inn properties.
Most recently he was general manager for the Ramada Plaza
in Orlando. Frobish studied business management at Illinois
State University in Bloomington, Ill., and graduated from
Holiday Inn University with a General Manager
Certification.
He has received numerous industry awards for outstanding
customer service, including the Pinnacle and Heart and
Hospitality awards from Ramada and Holiday Inn’s
Torch Bearer Award.
BayStar Hotel Group acquired the 200-room hotel, located at
8866 Palm Parkway in Orlando, near Disney Village on Sept.
15. After a $1.8 million makeover, the former Radisson
officially became a Holiday Inn Express on Dec. 15.
